Example fares
These are adult card fares for three example journeys. Fares depend on the distance travelled, not the number of stations.

These fares are based on the latest PTC fare schedule. The next annual fare revision takes effect on 26 December 2026, so check the LTA Fare Calculator for fares from that date.
What the columns mean
- Peak and off-peak: the standard adult card fare for the journey. Check the LTA Fare Calculator for the current rule for each time band.
- Before 7:45 AM tap-in: a lower fare when you tap in before 7:45 AM.
How to pay
- Contactless bank cards or mobile wallets: tap your card or phone at the fare gate when you enter, and tap again when you leave.
- EZ-Link cards: tap in and tap out in the same way. You can top up at station machines or in the SimplyGo app.
- Singapore Tourist Pass: unlimited rides on MRT, LRT and basic bus for 1, 2 or 3 days.
You must tap out at the end of every journey.
